The Smart Charger is used with the 3M HEPA Airstream to charge the 520-01-02R01 Battery & on the BP17-IS Battery for the BreatheEasy system.  The smart charger will fully charge these batteries in 6 hours. No need to discharge the battery for recharging, the smart charger is self-monitoring. An automatic switch-over to Trickle Rate mode prevents overcharging your battery. This battery charger will also charge the old style 520-01-18R01 sold on the AGH1, AH1, AH5, and the AS200 systems.

    I purchased this to replace a unit I have had for almost 20 years that finally conked out. I have the old Airmate yellow hardhat unit and everything is still in good working order. I have had to replace the battery once, but it still works well
